About the Waters of French Polynesia
The lagoons of French Polynesia are among the most stunning in the world, famous for their layered shades of turquoise, sapphire, and deep blue water. Protected reef systems create calm lagoons ideal for swimming, snorkeling, paddle boarding, and marine life encounters.
The coral gardens are vibrant underwater ecosystems filled with:
Tropical fish
Rays
Reef sharks
Coral formations
Manta rays (seasonally)
Many of the anchorages are surrounded by pristine motus (small islets), white sand beaches, and volcanic mountain scenery, creating an unforgettable South Pacific sailing experience.
Important Note
Maupiti may potentially be added to the itinerary depending on weather and sea conditions. Because access and anchoring can be challenging, this island will only be included if conditions are safe and favorable.
